We had a really wonderful Thanksgiving at my dad’s house.
Pip loves visiting, as there’s lots to explore and interact with: aunties, uncle, papa, photos on the fridge, two doggies, decorations on low shelves, the inevitable and generous gifts showered upon her, and a big yard to play in.
She marches through the house, babbling a mile a minute, running through everyone’s names, playing with all the phones she can find, and getting loads of kisses and snuggles.
Here are some of my favorite moments:
The beautiful table my dad set. The house was decorated so nicely for Thanksgiving, too. And then we got to see him put away the turkeys and pilgrims and take out the Santas and snowmen. :)
Baking Santa cookies! My mom made this yearly with us as kids. Lots of fun, and delicious, once we figured out the correct sugar cookie recipe to make!
Holding my hubby’s hand for two uninterrupted hours at the movies! Thanks to Aunty Nennie for babysitting!
Uncle David bringing Pip a new ball and all the fun and laughs they had with that.
And of course, all the delicious food!
I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving, too!
